I looked at the weather last night and it was forcast for force 5 all weekend, arrived at brog about 11am after doing a half day at work(6am start).
The wind was 20 - 25 so rigged 7m and 150lt techno with 35 cm fin and hit the water. I was having some good runs but the wind began to die alittle so let off some down/ out haul and put on bigger fin.
Had a good sail after that putting in some nice gybes nearly planned out of one but my back hand slipped off the boom when I sheeted in, lucky there was no children present the air was blue!
Then the wind picked up a little, then a lot!
Was blowing 30 gusting nearly 40 which was a little much for 7m sail 150lt board with a 46cm fin! things got a little hairy at times all good fun though. Its amazing that its possible to get spin out with a 46cm fin.
I stuck it out for a while but it was just getting too hairy so came back in and took smaller board out for a few runs.
Decided to call it a day then as things were just too big for 7m sail and I was too lazy to rig 6m.

Good fun today
